With demand strong for the mid-size Chevy Colorado pickup and Toyota launching a new Tacoma for model year 2016, one wonders if Ford will jump into the fray with a new mid-size truck. Is it time to bring back the Ranger?

Automotive News reports Hyundai is considering a new, larger, and more luxurious sport utility vehicle based on the Genesis sedan. Hyundai sales suffered in May experts said, because of its sedan heavy lineup and lack of a compact and subcompact crossover or SUV. Of course any such new product is at least two or three years away from the market.

2016 Audi Q3

Audi’s compact luxury SUV, the Q3, gets a refresh for the new model year with a starting price of $33,700 for the base Premium Plus model with front wheel drive. At the other end of the scale, the Prestige Quattro will carry a base price of $40,700. The front headlights, grille and exterior fascia have been revamped and Audi said there will be “interior upgrades” for 2016.
