The recalls continue at General Motors. This time it is 221,558 Chevy Impalas and Cadillac XTS models for a brake defect. GM said the brake pads might remain partially engaged when braking is not needed thus building up heat and possibly starting a fire. It knows of no such incidents. Cadillacs from model years 2013-2015 and Impalas from 2014-15 are involved in the recall.
